3rd EUROPEAN MUSIC COMPETITION FOR CONCERT BANDS – FANFARE ORCHESTRAS – BRASS BANDS

June, 3rd and 4th, 2023, Philharmonie Luxembourg

After 2013 and 2017 the Luxembourg music federation Union Grand-Duc Adolphe (UGDA) organizes in 2023 the 3rd European competition for wind orchestras in collaboration with the Philharmonie Luxembourg.
The competition is opened to the best wind orchestras and youth orchestras (concert bands, fanfare orchestras and brass bands) from all countries, an especially from Europe.
The competition includes one level (Highest level: Level A/National Division, Concert Division, 1st Division…) and three different categories (Wind Orchestra – Fanfare – Brass Band)). Wind orchestras and youth wind orchestras compete together in their category.

Artistic director of the competition is the renowned conductor Jan COBER.

3. EUROPÄISCHER MUSIKWETTBEWERB FÜR BLASORCHESTER – FANFAREORCHESTER – BRASS BANDS

am 3. und 4. Juni 2023 in der Philharmonie Luxembourg

Nach 2013 und 2017 organisiert der Luxemburger Musikverband Union Grand-Duc Adolphe (UGDA) 2023 den 3. Europäischen Musikwettbewerb für Blasorchester, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Philharmonie Luxemburg.
Eingeladen sind die besten Blasorchester und Jugendorchester (Harmonieorchester, Fanfareorchester und Brass Bands) aus allen Ländern und insbesondere aus Europa.
Der Wettbewerb sieht eine einzige Leistungsstufe vor, die Höchststufe (Niveau A, Nationaldivision, Konzertdivision, 1. Division…) sowie drei verschiedene Kategorien (1. Harmonie 2. Fanfare 3. Brass Band) vor. Orchester und Jugendorchester konkurrieren gemeinsam in ihrer Kategorie.
Die künstlerische Leitung des Wettbewerbes obliegt dem bestbekannten Dirigenten Jan COBER.

3e CONCOURS EUROPEEN POUR HARMONIES – FANFARES – BRASS BANDS

les 3 et 4 juin 2023 à la Philharmonie Luxembourg

Après 2013 et 2017, la fédération luxembourgeoise de musique Union Grand-Duc Adolphe (UGDA) organise en 2023 en étroite collaboration avec la Philharmonie Luxembourg le 3e Concours européen pour orchestres à vent (harmonie, fanfare, brass band). Le Concours est ouvert aux meilleurs orchestres à vent et orchestres de jeunes de tous les pays, et notamment des pays européens.
Le concours prévoit un seul niveau de difficulté (degré supérieur/niveau A/division nationale,…) et trois différentes catégories (1. Harmonie - 2. Fanfare - 3. Brass band). Les orchestres et orchestres de jeunes concourent ensemble dans leur catégorie.
La direction artistique du concours a été confiée au chef d’orchestre de grande renommée Jan COBER.
